(Removed "Availability" discussion. Added note to discussion about exposed engines.)

Its just a wrong change, should say that an exposed engine will only take as much bulk up as the maximum bulk that the chassis can take unexposed.  Example: A Box Van has an engine bay that can take an unexposed engine of bulk 90 or an exposed engine of size 108. If a 5L V8 engine is installed in a Box Van, it will only take up 90 bulk, rather than the 100 bulk that the engine is listed as.

The note about availability might not be accurate.  Unless something has changed the only engines that are 'camp only' are the rotaries.  The others do spawn, but generally get snapped up almost instantly, or get purchased using [[Hero Points]] before they appear on the open market.--[[User:Wikiadmin|Wikiadmin]] 07:11, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

Could somebody explain what the following is supposed to mean?

  • When installing an exposed engine, it requires 5 less bulk than listed.

I think what this is trying to say is that an exposed engine will only take up as much bulk as the engine bay can hold. The excess bulk is exposed and therefore doesn't deduct from the chassis' available bulk/capacity, but the exposed bulk value isn't always 5. --Wikiadmin 06:31, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
