Talk:Armor
The armor types here need flavor. A B C doesn't give the player any technical or real world feel.
I recommend changing them to something like
Ablative
Ballistic
Composite.
That would hold with the current naming convention/types.
Other possibilities include:
Steel Reactive Aluminum Iron Titanium Uranium Plastic Glass Ceramic Electrically Charged
- The problem with these descriptors is that they don't fit the gameworld, and imply stuff that isn't accurate in either gameplay (i.e. Ballistic implies it is better suited against Ballistic weapons), or the tech level of gameworld (i.e. Ablative and Composite are well outside the tech of Evan (IMO)). Something like Performance/Matched = A, Standard = B, Scrap = C, would be closer, and would mesh with the supported ideas that a) A armor provides a benefit for fuel economy due to its better aerodynamics, and b) C armor being significantly heavier than B. --Wikiadmin 19:20, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
