Engines are a modern marvel of technology.

Stick this complex piece of machinery in the right place in a car, hook a fuel line up and PRESTO, it will move!

Engines in Darkwind are measured in terms of their displacement, with a note along side the size indicated if the engine is a V8, V12, or a rotary. All of the "special V and rotary engines put out substantially more power than a similar sized regular engine.

For example, the valuable 3.2 V8 engine is almost identical in terms of power to the larger 4L engine (65 bulk vs. 75 bulk)
