  • BL - Badlands (used as the location tag in the Lobby)
  • BPU - Big PickUp

  • CC - Car Cannon
  • CGL - Car Grenade Launcher
  • CR - Combat Rating or Car Rifle

  • DR - Death Race
  • DT - Desert Tank

  • EL - Elmsfield (used as the location tag in the Lobby)
  • Elms - Elmsfield

  • FL - Firelight (used as the location tag in the Lobby)
  • FT - Flamethrower

  • Ganger - Gang member, the in-game characters you control
  • Gat, GG - Gatling Gun
  • GW - Gateway (used as the location tag in the Lobby)

  • HCR - Heavy Car Rifle
  • HGAT, HGG - Heavy Gatling Gun
  • HMG - Heavy Machine Gun

  • Landy - Landrunner
  • LOF - Line of Fire; used interchangeably with LOS
  • LOS - Line of Sight; used interchangeably with LOF
  • LR - Landrunner

  • Mish - Mission

  • MML - Micromissile Launcher

  • NR - No Return - No Return Encounter following a successful wilderness scout

  • Ped - Pedestrian (person outside of car)
  • Perma-damage - permanent damage
  • PvP - Player versus Player
