Just what the name implies, high-velocity, anti-armor weaponry.
Unless you drive a tank or your car is armored like one, you won't be able to withstand many hits from these projectiles. Also, be careful what you mount it on as the recoil is.. significant.
Similar to the Car Cannon according to the description although it's noticeably less accurate and has better splash damage, while the car cannon does extra armor damage versus single targets.
