This variant of the Phoenix chassis carries the fast 4L engine, as well as a Heavy Machine Gun in the front, allowing it to disrupt and destroy most smaller cars in front of it. The rear-mounted Micromissile Launcher is a deterrent to those that would just stay behind it, making the best tactic to use a high-impact weapon and hit the Badlander while it's trying to turn.
Quite common outside Somerset, and the most common Phoenix variant. Expect to see at least one in each scout or travel you do.
